Methodists of all ages, there’s no place like Lake Junaluska Conference Center. For 2009, Seesalt is returning to that site to provide a chance for more of us to find out why. Since 1913 Lake Junaluska has been the official conference center of the United Methodist Church and traditionally has been packed with Methodist-sponsored conferences all summer. Conveniently located just off of I-40 in the western North Carolina mountains, the conference center facilities have a rustic charm and offer a wide range of recreation opportunities including swimming, boating, basketball, volleyball, and a recreation

center. The surrounding area offers even more possibilities including hiking, white-water rafting, and nearby Ghost Town amusement park. Small group sessions will be in Shackford Hall, located adjacent to youth housing and the youth dining hall. Cost for lodging, registration/program/materials/facilities fees, and 10 meals is $262 ($272 after May 1).
