2009 Registration Info
1. The cost for Seesalt at Sea Mist is approximately $282 for each participant registered by May 1 ($292 after May 1) when you put four people in each of your rooms. Putting a fifth person in the room on a rollaway bed ($9 per night) will decrease your average per person cost. Putting less than four per room will increase your average per person cost.
2. LODGING:
a. All rooms for Seesalt are either oceanfront or ocean view and have either a microwave and refrigerator or a kitchenette.
b. You can make lodging reservations directly with Sea Mist by calling group sales at 1-800-200-8687 and ask for Gayle Sayers. Be sure to tell them you are reserving rooms for Seesalt.
c. The Seesalt group rate for rooms is $116 per room per night plus a $4 per day resort fee. With 11% state and local tax the total per room is $133.20 per night.
d. A rollaway bed can be added to your room for $9 per night.
e. A first night deposit is due within 7 days of making lodging reservations.
3. Beyond the cost of lodging, there is a charge of $148.80 per participant ($158.80 after May 1) for 5 meals and the cost of program, materials, and facilities. You will be on your own for breakfast each day (again, each room has at least a refrigerator and microwave) and for lunch and dinner during Wednesday’s block of free time. Other optional items such as shirts, DVDs, CDs, books, and snack food will be on sale.
4. A $60 per person deposit is required with the reservation form. If a cancellation is made 60 days in advance of the scheduled week, $30 of the $60 will be refunded. There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the week. Unused deposits cannot be applied toward remaining balance.
5. The remaining balance (not including lodging) of $88.80 per person ($98.80 for those registered after May 1) is due upon arrival.
6. Reservations are taken on a first-come basis beginning February 1. Reservations postmarked before February 1 will be treated as though postmarked February 1.
7. A male adult leader is required for each 1-7 boys and a female adult leader is required for each 1-7 girls. Additional adult leaders beyond this ratio are welcomed and encouraged, especially if your group requires more than average supervision. Adult leaders should be responsible, maturing Christians age 21 or older who can provide proper supervision of their students. They must agree to support and enforce conference regulations. Adult leaders will be rooming with students, so husbands and wives will not be able to room together.
8. Conference participants must have completed the sixth grade in school. Anyone younger than this, including children of adult leaders must NOT be brought. We reserve the right to send underage children home at the church's expense with no refund. College students may attend and will have two options. If they are not considered adult leaders, they will be in a college Bible study group. If they are considered adult leaders, they will participate in adult leader programming.
9. Participants need to extra towels for the beach, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, shampoo, casual clothes, Bible, pen, spending money, and good attitudes.
