Bill Cox

BILL COX is the executive director of Concoxions, a unique ministry organization he founded in 1979.  For 35 years, part of Bill’s work with Concoxions included producing and directing the very popular Seesalt summer student conferences and Chillipepper winter student conferences.

A speaker, chalk artist, actor, musician, songwriter, author, and playwright; Bill has written, produced, and presented numerous productions that have been featured in hundreds of churches as well as regional, state, and national conferences across the country.  

Bill served as associate director of the South Carolina Baptist Convention evangelism department and headed up SCBC youth events for 12 years.  He has also planned and directed national youth conferences for several Southern Baptist Convention agencies.  For five years Bill served as minister to youth at Taylors First Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.

Bill wrote, produced, directed, and performed in “A Peace of ‘72” that received wide-spread acclaim during its 90-show run at Fantasy Harbour in Myrtle Beach.  That led to the establishment in 2001 of Concoxions Cornerstone Theatre in Lyman, SC which for eight years served as the year round home of original Concoxions productions including “A Peace of ‘72,” “The Journey” and “Cornerstone Christmas Dinner Theatre.”

Spartanburg, SC is home for Bill and his wife Kathy, who is also a full-time part of Concoxions. They have two sons, a daughter, six grandsons and one granddaughter..
