Top Ten Tuesday: Chillipepper Pics
Posted by Josh Crocker on January 26th, 2010This week’s Top Ten Tuesday has been taken over by one of the Amalgamblog’s resident shutterbugs, Josh Crocker. We asked Josh to give us ten of his favorite pictures from this past weekend of Chillipepper and he did not disappoint. So without further ado, here are the Top Ten Chillipepper Pics in no particular order.
10. Fee Air Punches the Crowd
The caption tells it all.

9. Fee Worship Shot
There’s a good deal of camera noise here, but that aside it’s just the classic “worship shot” with a blurred silhouette of a hand in the foreground with the worship leader in the background.

8. Green Bassist
This was after the bassist from Stellar Kart did his crowd run. What’s funny here is during editing I saw one shot I took of this and thought, “man I should have gotten that at a different angle.” And then I saw this one… and it was that angle. Good to know my mind is consistent.

7. Pirate Band Pic
Anna Sheehan sported this trendy eye patch on Saturday of Chillipepper weekend, and I’m not sure why but this made me think of a band pic. Maybe it’s Weston’s vest.

6. Ruffner Candid
Little known fact: Anna Ruffner hates having her picture taken unless she’s posed for.

5. Rush of Fools Goldeness
Took a similar shot to this one of Decemberadio a few years back . . . still like the idea.

4. Shoes
Basically I just thought these shoes were awesome. If I owned them I would feel like a Power Ranger or something.

3. Stellar Kart Epitomized
I’ve used epitomized twice now… anyway this shot accurately depicts Stellar Kart’s stage presence I think.

2. The Glory
Keith’s lighting brilliance at it’s crowd-illuminating finest.

1. The Kings
My favorite Bean & Bailey sketch of the weekend. Mostly Bean’s up-to-date impersonation of Michael Jackson, which I unfortunately did not capture with my camera.
Josh you are amazing.
Go, Go Power Rangers!
these are really, really good. i’ve decided to forgive you for posting that one of me, because i realize you were trying to be merciful by not posting some of the others
Good job. I had no clue you had so much talent. I like em!
Great pictures! And that bean and Bailey sketch was my favorite too!! I can’t wait for Chillipepper 2011!!
Great pics Josh!
Dude, Steve Fee’s shoes were legit, no joke. And yes, your camera work makes me glad I don’t own a camera…mainly because I could never compare!!
