Christmas Chronicles with Bill Cox (and friends) is coming to The Gramling Opry House December 12-14 bringing a popular celebration of Christmas to an upstate SC venue that offers a quaint, rustic atmosphere in a comfortable well-equipped setting. For years this unique production has been performed in churches and other settings throughout the southeast.
Through traditional Christmas music and five characters written and performed by Bill Cox, Christmas Chronicles faithfully conveys the true Christmas nativity story in an innovative way that is entertaining, humorous, thought-provoking, and encouraging from beginning to end.
Musical guests include Mike and Kim Blackwood on Friday, Gary and Julie Blackwood and Molly Platt on Saturday, and Hailey Padula Gimler on Sunday.
Admission is a suggested $10 contribution per person and advance on-line reservations are recommended (see below to make reservations) but not required. If making a contribution would be a hardship or something you are unable to do, please do not let that keep you from coming. You are very welcome to come as our guest. We do not want finances to discourage you from being a part of this celebration.
Groups are very welcomed and larger groups are also welcomed to contact us about the possibilities of scheduling a private party. Ideal for Sunday school classes, student groups, senior adult groups, family gatherings, neighborhood groups, company Christmas parties, etc.
The production will last about an hour with doors opening an hour before show time epecially for those who would like to purchase concessions including sandwiches, desserts, coffee, tea, and soft drinks from the Gramling Opry House kitchen.
